Adjusting calendar and schedule settings
Updated over a week ago

There are two areas of your Maple profile that will affect your availability for consultation requests:

  • Schedule settings allow you to set global rules for each specialty and consultation type (eg. initial or follow-up appointments). This includes days you are available, length of scheduled consultations, how far in advance patients can book, etc.

  • Calendar allows you to view booked appointments and open or block out specific time slots outside your global schedule settings.

Our full scheduling training module offers a refresher on setting up your calendar and schedule settings, available here.

Schedule settings

View your settings

  1. Select Schedule from the main menu.

  2. Navigate to the Settings tab.

Set up your availability and settings

  1. From the list on the left side, select the service you’d like to apply settings for or select Global configuration tab to apply settings to all services.

  2. Under Availability, select which days you’re available for visits, and add a time range.

  3. Under Scheduling Settings, you can make adjustments to:

    1. Preferred Timezone: What timezone you would like your calendar and bookings to appear in (patients will see times in their own local timezone).

    2. Minimum interval: Time in between appointments.

    3. Lead time: Minimum number of days before booking or time required for same-day booking.

    4. How far in advance patients can book

    5. Appointment reminders

The availability and scheduling settings will be applied only to the service type you selected in step 1.

Calendar

Select Schedule from the main menu to view your calendar.

All upcoming appointments will appear on the calendar based on the timezone you have selected in schedule settings. You can adjust the view by day, week or month.

To add an appointment slot or block off time as unavailable, click Create.
