Quebec In-Person Assessments (IPA)
Updated over a week ago

Maple has partnered with private in-person clinics throughout Quebec to provide patients with a pathway for in-person care. The program is available to all Quebec corporate patients.

There will be a note on the consultation request and in the consultation room when patients have in-person Quebec visits available.

Consultation requests cannot be rejected for patients eligible for the IPA program. If a patient's request cannot be treated virtually, we ask that you refer the patient to an in-person assessment at one of our partner clinics via a care recommendation — instructions for this are included below.

Please note that patients must pay additional fees for appointments at these private in-person clinics. Patients are notified of this prior to booking. Patients are not required to utilize the care recommendation — they can seek treatment through other means if they wish.

Issuing an IPA care recommendation - Mobile app

  1. From the dropdown menu, click Care Recommendation.

  2. Click the orange plus sign icon.

3. Select In-Person Appointment. Add a note (this will be visible to the patient) and click Create care recommendation.

Issuing an IPA care recommendation - Web browser

After an IPA care recommendation is issued

  1. Once the recommendation is issued, it will appear on the patient's Maple dashboard (main page).

  2. Patients can click the recommendation to book an appointment with Maple’s Care Concierge team, who will assist them with scheduling an in-person appointment at our partner clinics. The Care Concierge is available Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm ET.
