Maple membership
Updated over a month ago

Some patients accessing Maple may be Maple members. With a Maple membership, patients gain access to paediatric care, second medical opinions, personal health check-ins, and iCBT courses. The Maple membership is available to individuals and families across Canada (excluding Quebec).

As a provider providing care to these patients, your general consult experience and payment structure for these consults will remain the same, except for the following changes:

  • Consultation rejections are disabled. If you receive a request that you feel is inappropriate for online care, please provide care according to Maple's Corporate Consultation policy, accept it and spend a minimum of 5-10 minutes with the patient to address their questions and, if necessary, guide them to in-person care. You will still be compensated for these visits, even if no treatment is provided.

  • Requisitions and referrals are available in more provinces and territories.

  • Scheduled visits are available. If you currently offer or wish to enable scheduled visits, please ensure you reconfigure your availabilities to accommodate the expanded services. For information on how to set up your schedule, please refer to our Help Desk article here.
