In cases where the lab requisition feature is not enabled for a consultation, it is possible to upload a custom lab requisition. If a user has submitted a request primarily for lab testing, and lab requisitions are not enabled, we recommend closing the visit without charge.
If a custom lab requisition is issued, you will be responsible for managing the results and all communications with the patient, including posting the results back to the patient profile and contacting them promptly. Please include your office address and contact information on the form so labs can follow up with you directly with the results. The Maple Admin team cannot process incoming results for custom lab requisitions since they are not issued on our system.
