Overview
Patients requests on the B2B Trial Program come from highly valued potential clients for Maple.
If you're a provider selected to participate in this program, you're expected to provide an exceptional patient experience. In recognition of this, Maple pays a premium per-visit-fee for these requests.
Best Practice Guidelines
To ensure consistency and the highest level of service, please follow these guidelines for all Trial consultations:
Only accept requests if you’re able to provide dedicated, high-quality care.
Send the first message within 5 minutes of accepting the request.
Offer audio or video consultations as options for the patient.
Spend at least 15 minutes with the patient to ensure their concerns are fully addressed before closing the consultation.
If the Issue Requires In-Person Care
Even if the issue cannot be fully treated virtually, please:
Take a brief but thorough history and actively listen to the patient’s concerns.
Offer guidance on potential diagnoses and advise on appropriate next steps.
Clearly communicate the urgency with which the patient should seek in-person care.
How to Identify Trial Requests
When reviewing a request:
The specialty name will be labelled as “B2B Maple Trial General Practitioner.”
A clear notice will appear on both the triage screen and within the consultation, outlining how to handle the request appropriately.
Opting Out
If you aren’t able to offer the above level of service and would therefore prefer not to receive Trial requests, let us know, and we’ll remove you from the program without any issue.
For any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out — we’re here to support you every step of the way.
