When patients submit a consultation request, they must provide express consent to use virtual care. Our "Consent to Use Virtual Care" statement was developed in alignment with guidance from the CMPA.
Patients cannot proceed to being matched with a provider on Maple unless they provide express consent.
This streamlined consent process may mean that you do not need to manually request consent from each patient during the consultation.
