Canada-wide and province-specific external resources for mental health support

Here is a list of mental health resources that can be shared:

Canada-wide

    • BounceBack® is a free skill-building program managed by the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA). It is designed to help adults and youth 15+ manage low mood, mild to moderate depression and anxiety, stress or worry.

    • 15 years of age or older living in Canada and Already connected to a primary care provider (physician or nurse) or psychiatrist

    • Mild-to-moderate depression, with or without anxiety

    • Not at risk of harming self or others

    • Do not have a personality disorder

    • Have not had a manic episode or psychosis in the last 6 months

    • Capable of engaging with and concentrating on materials

    • Not significantly misusing drugs or alcohol to the extent that it would impact engagement in CBT treatment

    • Explore strategies to help you take care of your mental health and use substances in healthier ways, find the information you need to manage mental health and substance use problems, and learn how you can support a loved one.

Manitoba

    • As the nation-wide leader and champion for mental health, CMHA facilitates access to the resources people require to maintain and improve mental health and community integration, build resilience, and support recovery from mental illness.

    • Free information sheets on various topics regarding trauma, addictions and general mental health.

    • BounceBack® is a free skill-building program managed by the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA). It is designed to help adults and youth 15+ manage low mood, mild to moderate depression and anxiety, stress or worry. Delivered over the phone with a coach and through online videos, you will get access to tools that will support you on your path to mental wellness.
